Noted paediatric orthopaedic surgeon Dr Viraj Shingade was invited as a Faculty for the 16 th Annual Conference of Srilanka Orthopaedic Association. The conference was held at Hotel Shangrila in Colombo from 7th November to 9th November 2024.

Many faculties of international repute working in the field of orthopaedics were invited as speakers. Dr Shingade was the only speaker from India . Dr Shingade was the lead for paediatric orthopaedic session.

He deliberated on two topics…
1)mini invasive techniques in managing difficult supracondylar Humerus fractures in children.
2)Managing of difficult Foot deformities in paediatric age group.

The informative talk by Dr shingade was appreciated by all the delegates. The session was followed by very good interaction between Dr shingade and the delegates. Post session Dr Shingade was felicitated with a Memento.
